LOAN OFFICER POSITIONS
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is the Federal government’s primary source of money to help businesses of all sizes, private non-profit organizations, homeowners and renters recover from disasters. SBA makes Federal low-interest disaster loans to cover losses not fully compensated by insurance or other sources.
Because of the magnitude of the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, SBA will be processing part of this workload at its facility in Citrus Heights.
Immediate need for Attorneys
Candidates for positions as attorney must have a current bar card or law license from any state. Experience in real estate or mortgage lending is a plus.
Attorneys will review loan authorizations & determine required documentation to affect the agency’s collateral position. Attorneys also conduct reviews of notes, guaranties, mortgages, tax forms, affidavits regarding property, deed of trust, attorney opinions, title reports, title commitments, title policies, etc. and determine compliance with the loan authorizations. Attorneys may also conduct loan closings, disburse funds and ensure appropriate disbursements are made according to the loan authorization.
Immediate need for Business and Home Loan Officers
With backgrounds such as:
Financial/Credit Analysts • Bankers • Mortgage Underwriters • Accountants
Candidates for positions as business loan officers must have prior commercial/business lending experience or experience analyzing business financial statements and tax returns and evaluating credit reports.
Candidates for positions as home loan officers should have experience in reviewing income documentation (tax returns, W-2s, pay stubs, etc.) and experience determining repayment ability and evaluating credit reports.
However, candidates with degrees in accounting, finance, or related business areas of study are also encouraged to apply.
• All positions are temporary and subject to workload requirements.
• All positions must be available for immediate, full-time work.
• All Positions require competency with Microsoft Office.
Attorney Positions pay a base hourly rate of $25.73 to $31.13. Overtime ($38.60 to $42.50) will be paid for hours over 40 weekly.
Loan Specialist Positions pay a base hourly rate of $25.73 to $31.13. Overtime ($38.60 to $42.50) will be paid for hours over 40 weekly.
Loan Assistant Positions pay a base hourly rate of $16.98 to $21.03. Overtime ($25.47 to $31.55) will be paid for hours over 40 weekly.
• Weekend work may be required and mandatory overtime could be substantial.
• Skills in languages in addition to English are desirable.
• All positions must pass Credit and Background Check.
• All positions require U.S. Citizenship.
