Construction - Livermore, CA - Full Time

We are looking for Laborers to work on our landscape projects.This position will be located in: Livermore, CA - travel to multiple job sites in Northern California/Bay Area 

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Laborer to provide maintenance on our Landscape projects
  • Mowing lawns
  • Trimming trees
  • Planting trees, flowers, shrubs, etc. 

Qualifications

  • No experience is necessary, willing to train 
  • Desire to work in Landscape
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Ability to work outside all day

 

Landscape Construction Foreman

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, manage and monitor multiple site projects in the Northern California/Bay Area
  • Visit jobs on a routine basis to ensure completion of work
  • Conduct before and after inspections, assess the timing and feasibility of sites, and provide proactive suggestions/improvements
  • Manage equipment utilization on projects, equipment storage and maintenance
  • Ensure that the job operates safely and efficiently at all times
  • Prioritize daily work assignments and schedules multiple crews 
  • Ensure your team adheres to law complying breaks/lunch and the completion of daily time sheets and weekly reports 

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in landscape and irrigation supervision
  • Ability to read blueprint and landscape designs
  • Ability to travel to job sites and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to plan and problem solve
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule work load and multiple crew
  • Ability to follow through on assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate instructions and delegate to staff
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Ability to speak some English
  • Moderate computer skills is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, manage and monitor multiple site projects
  • Visit jobs on a routine basis to ensure completion of work
  • Conduct before and after inspections, assess the timing and feasibility of sites, and provide proactive suggestions/improvements
  • Ensure that all jobs are completed according to plans, are within budget and according to committed deadlines
  • Manage equipment utilization on projects, equipment storage and maintenance
  • Ensure that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications & drawings, are within budget, and on schedule
  • Ensure that entire branch operates safely and efficiently at all times
  • Prioritize daily work assignments and schedules, assign teams, train and oversee crews, and hire personnel when needed
  • Ensure your team adheres to law complying breaks/lunch and the completion of daily time sheets and weekly reports 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience
  • 3 years in supervisory experience in managing a team and projects
  • 5 years experience in landscape or construction experience
  • Ability to read blueprint and landscape designs
  • Ability to travel to jobsites and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to plan and problem solve
  • Excellent prioritizing, planning and scheduling of work load and staff
  • Ability to follow through on assigned responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate instructions and delegate to staff
  • Bilingual Spanish required
  • Moderate computer skills is preferred
