Director, Marketing and Development
The Director of Marketing and Development, is responsible for the development and management of a comprehensive marketing communications and donor recruitment plan necessary to build, support and grow the Western Piedmont Community College brand of higher education and the Western Piedmont Foundation.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education, background and/or training equivalent to a complete four-year college or university education in marketing, public relations, communications or business required.

Master’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Business preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required.

Knowledge and experience in marketing, budgeting and project management preferred.

Knowledge and experience in fundraising representing an educational institution preferred.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications as well as proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.

Ability to use QuickBooks.

Ability to work both independently and as a teammate.

High standard of excellence, accuracy and consistency, personal integrity, honesty and accountability.

Strong organizational skills, process oriented.

Energetic, self-motivated and comfortable in public speaking situations.

An intimate knowledge of the WPCC service area, its history and people is preferred.

Salary: Hiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($3,575 – 4,469/monthly)
