Service Advisor
Responsibtilities:
As a Service Advisor at Walser Subaru, you are the communication leader for all vehicle maintenance and repair activities. You serve as the liaison between customers and the dealership to ensure a positive customer experience and guest satisfaction.
- Act as the face of Walser service by greeting customers as they enter the service drive.
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds, record mileage and VIN numbers, transport vehicles to technician bays, and write-up repair orders
- Understand basic automotive repairs, know how long each service will take and how much the repair will cost
- Serve as the liaison between technicians and customers, while relaying all information to set clear expectations of the visit to the guests
- Work as a team with your service admin and technicians to generate working hours and provide an excellent experience for your guests
- Prospect and sell dealership services, coordinate current work in progress, support pre-delivery activities and prepare for after-service delivery
- Execute proper follow up techniques with customers to build repeat business and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stage vehicles and shuttle customers as needed
- Coordinate special parts orders, collision center repairs and sublet repairs when needed.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns and complaints, while bringing in a manager when necessary
- Adhere to established comeback and repeat repair processes
- All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
- 9-18 months experience in the transportation industry, writing service
- Past experience working with a high level of urgency
- Proven experience with developed leadership
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience
- High level of detail orientation and accuracy
- Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word), preference may be given to intermediate level skills
- Proven experience working within a team environment
Preferred:
- CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, or other Dealer Management experience is a plus
- Previous experience or knowledge of the automotive industry
