Academic Services Professional Senior (#S3679PO)
UVM’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences seeks a self-motivated individual to serve as an Academic Services Professional Senior in the Department of Community Development and Applied Economics. The position is a 10 month, full time exempt staff position. The position acts as the program coordinator for the Green Building and Design Program, and provides a high level of student services support to the department. The position will be expected to develop, plan and organize training opportunities around advising and student services, as well as participate in student recruitment and retention activities. The position will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses within the department. Other essential duties include, but are not limited to, complex data management, program analysis and marketing, student advising, computer lab coordination, and website development.
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree in a specialized or related field, and two to four years of related experience. The position also requires effective organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently. Proficiency with software applications used to support office functions is required. Experience with CDAE’s Green Building and Design program, as well as previous teaching college experience and website development are highly desired.
