The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for an Assistant Director for the College of Business. Accredited by AACSB International, the Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte offers outstanding business education programs in a variety of disciplines. The college has approximately 3,500 undergraduate students, 600 graduate students, and 100 full-time faculty members.

Minimum Qualifications: A Master’s degree in a Business discipline from an AACSB accredited school, in Counseling, or in Higher Education is required.

Essential Job Duties: Two or more years of experience in high-volume business-community outreach and prospective student advising of prospective business graduate students preferred.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with both the university and business communities,
  • Have the ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, and exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external constituencies,
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment with flexible work hours and a hybrid work arrangement
  • Have strong administrative skills, documentation skills, and an orientation toward attention to detail,
  • Possess a communication style that is effective and engaging,
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and web technology.
