Program Support ll
Salary: $2,535 - $3,549
Regular (full-time) Employee – 40 hours per week (Benefited)
Open until filled with a priority review date of Monday, November 26, 2018.
This position is the first point of contact for the program and represents ATS to the public including school administrators, parents, and students. The incumbent performs a full range of customer service and administrative support and coordinates ATS projects. The incumbent will work in a periodically hectic office, with numerous in-person and telephone interruptions and with frequent deadline pressure.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment as a project lead and a project member. Demonstrated experience exercising sound judgment, problem solving, making decisions, and working in a changing environment with multiple interruptions.
2. Demonstrated experience coordinating many tasks, determining the importance of each, completing projects accordingly, and following established procedures.
3. Demonstrated experience effectively and efficiently communicating and working with all levels of employees and/or customers in-person, in writing, and by phone while maintaining a professional demeanor and exercising tact and good judgment.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent foundation in English language including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax. Demonstrated experience speaking in front of groups.
5. Demonstrated professional experience in a customer service position within an office or other administrative environment.
6. Demonstrated experience explaining and communicating complex policies and procedures to a variety of audiences.
7. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials.
8. Must have impeccable attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to successfully perform office support work and operate a variety of office equipment. Ability to learn office technology systems.
9. Demonstrated experience with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and databases. Demonstrated experience performing basic arithmetic calculations, typing, and keyboard skills.
10. Experience performing clerical functions such as word processing, filing, and typing.
11. Demonstrated experience as a lead including training employees.
12. Must be available to work occasional weeknights and Saturday mornings and work overtime when needed.
13. Must be legally eligible to drive in California, complete and pass an online training course, maintain a good driving record, and be acceptable for vehicle insurance coverage under the University Enterprises insurance plan. Must continue to meet the established driving standards, driving record will be monitored with the California Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure compliance. Must also possess own transportation for use in traveling to testing sites in the greater Sacramento area.
14. Must be fingerprinted and pass a background check. Must continue to meet the established standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Demonstrated experience working with Apple computers and related software.
2. Demonstrated experience in an educational or academic environment.
3. Demonstrated experience in working with secondary school students, school personnel, and parents.
4. Demonstrated supervisory experience including developing and maintaining staffing/work schedules.
