APPOINTMENT OF CHAPTER 12 STANDING TRUSTEE

The United States Trustee seeks resumes from persons wishing to be considered for appointment as a standing trustee to administer cases filed under chapter 12 of title 11 of the United States Code (Bankruptcy Code). The appointment covers cases filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California and the District of Nevada. Standing trustees receive compensation pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 586(e)(1)(A).  Standing trustees are not federal government employees. Although trustees are not federal employees, appointments are made consistent with federal Equal Opportunity policies, which prohibit discrimination in employment.
