The Sacramento Bee has a full-time opportunity for a qualified individual to join our production team in the Pre-press department.
Job Responsibilities and duties include:

Preparing plates for printing of various newspapers, and communicating with multiple newspapers to evaluate daily production needs.  Operates imagers, processors and Optical plate bending equipment. This includes tracking the output of all plates including time produced and drop-off location for press pickup. This individual should have strong multi-tasking skills and great attention to detail.  
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and some experience working in a fast-paced production environment as well as an aptitude to learn new software applications.  Candidates should have a good working knowledge of computers.  Must be a self-starter with good attendance and work ethic, be deadline oriented and time sensitive.
