The Collections and Arts Programming Manager (a 12-month position) will join a dedicated team of professionals tasked with stewarding the art collections and select arts endowments held by Potsdam College Foundation. This position is responsible for the daily duties of managing the Foundation’s extensive art collection, LoKo Arts programming and supporting other arts engagement events, as needed. This will primarily require managing the Foundation’s extensive art collection in close coordination with the Director and the Foundation Art Collection Committee, including the proper handling, storage, shipping and general treatment of the Collection; oversee installation of pieces in public spaces on campus; and maintaining accurate and thorough records of all pieces held in the Collection. Additionally, managing the LoKo Arts grant cycle and supporting other arts engagement events made possible through endowed funds held by the Foundation will be required. The successful candidate will bring exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and stewardship skills along with professionalism and inclusiveness with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. The ability to work nights and weekends, as needed, will be necessary. Bachelor’s degree required. SUNY Potsdam alumni are encouraged to apply.
