Pressperson
The Sacramento Bee's Production Division has an opening for a full time Pressperson.
Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: operating press equipment, specifically preparing rolls of paper for printing, adjusting ink densities and color registration to specification. The ability to evaluate color value is critical. Familiarity with newspaper operations is desired, but an excellent mechanical aptitude would be a plus. Excellent communication skills both oral and written are a must. Accuracy in reporting is a must. Must be willing to work any hours, as well as willing to work any shift that he/she is scheduled, as needed. Must be self-motivated and dependable.
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
