RISK MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
($7,260 - $9,630 per mo.) DOE Plus Excellent Benefits Are you a risk management superstar looking for an excellent opportunity in risk management working for one of the fastest-growing Ports on the West Coast? The Port of Stockton has an exciting opportunity for a Risk Management Specialist who will be instrumental in developing a port-wide risk management program. The ideal candidate will effectively identify and minimize risks while avoiding losses. The successful incumbent will be experienced and knowledgeable in claims management, property & casualty insurance, contractual insurance requirements, loss prevention, risk assessment, & policy development.
Minimum Requirements: Equiv. to Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in business administration, insurance, risk management or closely related field plus 3 yrs. of progressively responsible para-professional & professional level exp. in a risk mgmt. or insurance-related industry. Incumbents must be able to build and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to successfully identify and minimize risk and avoid losses. Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation is preferred & required within one (1) year of hire.
