Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east.  The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County.  We are seeking talented candidates to join our team for the following:






$101,454.08- $129,488.32 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits




PCWA is seeking qualified candidates with education and experience in water resources engineering to perform professional level technical engineering work for the Agency.  The ideal candidate would manage a broad range of planning projects and provide engineering support on water supply master planning, hydrology and hydraulic evaluations, water system consolidations, and state regulatory compliance. Primary functions of this position require managing a broad range of projects and programs through planning, implementation, and reporting. Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related area of study, and four years of licensed professional engineering experience in water resources or related field.  Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is required.  Visit our website for detailed recruitment information and to complete the on-line application:
