The Kern County Water Agency (Agency) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Water Resources Planner IV in its Sacramento, California office. This position will be responsible for assisting with or leading the planning, development and implementation of water management programs, projects and contracts to meet the water supply needs of Kern County.

Note: This position is based in Sacramento, California and requires travel for extended periods of time, including overnight travel. Travel to/from Bakersfield, California during introductory period will be frequent.

All applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental studies, engineering or related field with appliable coursework. Five (5) years of increasing responsibility performing business, environmental, engineering or planning-related functions is required; one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
