Paralegal
Office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools seeks a qualified, motivated, and detail-oriented paralegal with 4+ years of experience to join its legal team. Experience in education and/or public sector law a plus, but not required.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of the General Counsel and/or other Legal Counsel, perform highly–skilled, complex, responsible, and confidential paralegal duties; relieve the attorneys and support staff of administrative and clerical detail; maintain positive contact with County Superintendent departments and auxiliary organizations, County Board, and school district and other clients(collectively referred to as clients); plan, coordinate and organize department activities and coordinate flow of communications; observe and maintain confidentiality of client matters.
EXPERIENCE:
- At least four years of increasingly responsible paralegal experience.
- Both transactional and litigation experience preferred.
LICENSURE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Enrollment in the California Department of Motor Vehicles Government Employer Pull Notice Program at time of hire and throughout employment with County Superintendent.
