Estimator-Project Manager - Wet-Underground Utilities
Great Opportunity for and individual with Wet Underground Utilities experience. We are actively seeking to fill an estimating/Project Management position. Ideal candidates need to have experience in estimating projects and overseeing or assisting in overseeing of underground construction work (installing/general maintenance on water mains, services, and meters), Potholes, USA Markings, and professional communication. Project responsibilities include but not limited to.
- Manage projects from beginning through completion.
- Attend pre-construction meetings
- Obtaining required permits and ensure compliance with permit requirements
- Submitting traffic control plans
- Monitor costs to budget and ensure billings are completed timely
- Obtaining pricing from vendors
- Ensure subcontractors and owner operators meet companies requirements
- Obtaining all pre-construction documentation
- Ensure as-builts are complete and turned in.
- Projects closed out on time.
- Complete change orders
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are enforced.
Project Manager Requirements:
- EXPERIENCE IN WET-UNDERGROUND UTILITIES is REQUIRED.
- Experience with Hard Dollar estimating software a PLUS
- B.S. in Construction Management or similar degree preferred; 4 years entry-level construction management experience in underground construction or combination in education and experience.
- Valid CA drivers license.
- Computer literate.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to estimate, focusing on data entry/takeoffs
- Understanding of safety regulations
