Senior Finance/Operations Analyst

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for all aspects of analyzing key operational and financial results data. This person will generate reports from the Noble dialer and other pertinent databases to provide accurate and timely data along with analysis and recommendations to the management team. This role will have exposure to various levels of management throughout the organization. The role will have significant interaction with internal business and operations customers, with close ties to IT. This position will also work with external vendors to ensure that technical issues are addressed and the systems are functioning properly. Job Summary: Under limited direction, analyzes key operational data and financial results; Develops and present management reports; Utilizes information from available databases and systems to identify trends and opportunities, and partners with management to develop and implement effective strategies to address. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Analyzes business and financial data to identify trends and opportunities o Uses queries against available databases and systems to prepare management reports o Prepares ad-hoc analysis and operational reports for management team o Tests and updates divisional reporting tools to ensure that information is accurate and complete o Prepares presentations and summaries for internal and external customers o Support divisional processes, including dialer, email and text tools, and commission calculation o Maintains existing reports/work products, ensuring that the utility and application of each is updated and current with changing requirements and strategies o Excellent communication skills; Acts as a point of contact for information requests from internal customers up to senior leadership o Performs ad hoc data mining as needed o Assists with any department projects or analysis o Complies with all ECMC Group Policies o Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Required: o High School diploma or GED o 4+ years' experience in data mining, data warehousing or other related environment o Proficiency with relational databases, SQL, and report-writer software Preferred: o Post-secondary degree o Solid experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETI), database management and business intelligence software KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES o Demonstrated analytical ability, excellent problem solving skills, strong organizational skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines o Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities o Strong understanding of application structure/source data o Effective written and verbal communication skills o Advanced knowledge and skills working in a computer based office suite environment; Microsoft Windows or Mac Office including VBA experience o Displays and promotes high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational and government standards o Basic analytical and problem-solving skills o Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently o Ability to anticipate, understand and manage customer expectations and consistent delivery of services
