LVN / LPT and Recovery Coach positions

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/ Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The Nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operation of the unit.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current licensure in California as LPT or LVN
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
- Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.
RECOVERY COACH
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma/GED, 2 years clinical experience in an acute psychiatric or residential setting preferred, valid CA driver's license required; able to pass fingerprint process and physical.
Duties:
Support clients in completing activities of daily living, provide groups, prompt for medications and meals, provide medication supervision support, observe and assess client behaviors and interactions, intervene on escalating behaviors, work within the team to discuss and implement plans for client services. Must have good time management skills and documentation skills.
FT/PT/OC positions available for AM/PM/NOC shifts; starting pay is $14.00/hr. Health benefits offered for FT positions.
