Director Global Quality

Director Global Quality, Sacramento, CA – Define/execute global quality strategy, shoring up quality systs, & bld’g international team. Bld CTI Asia quality team’s, SPC syst, & implement quality programs in new Mills. Recruit, hire, train, & spprt international quality mgrs. Review current production & product specs, update, & reengage w/ mills to ensure eng’g & manufacturing standards meet specific tchncl specs. Dvlp/coordinate SPC shop floor controls, data collection, & reporting. Utilize Mgmt Audit Process w/ data collection, reporting, & actions. Build QIC (Quality Intelligence System) in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Drive quality & predictability through implementation of Lean in all Joint Venture (JV) mills. Dsgn risk-based programs to ID & assess potential failure points or malfunctions for product launches. Ability to travel an estimated 4-6 trips to Asia & 4-6 trips to Mexico/yr. Salary $150k/yr. Req’mts: Bachelor’s or frgn equiv in eng’g, manufacturing, or rel. fld. Certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. 5 yrs exp as indicated: At least 2 yrs of exp in Stat. Process Control (SPC) & at least 3 yrs of exp in leadership position implementing Lean Six Sigma.
