Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties is currently accepting applications for the position of Migrant Education and Health Specialist. The position is directly responsible for monitoring the quality of child educational and health services in the Council’s child development centers where Migrant Head Start classrooms are located.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development or health related field. Two (2) years of experience in a preschool setting. Supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of licensing regulations, Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC accreditation. Knowledge of computerized management information systems. Must obtain a T.B. skin test, food handler’s permit, and any other screenings, physicals, and testing required by funding source, licensing and/or regulations.

Salary: $38,334.40 – 42,167.84 (plus excellent benefits)
10% salary differential for bilingual applicants (English/Spanish)
