SUMMARY
Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for manufacturing, technical, management positions throughout the Company. Champions recruitment efforts across the company. Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all functions in the company and extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Main point of contact for campus recruiting across the company.
- Manages employee referral program company-wide.
- Utilizes creative sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates. Coordinates internal sourcing and posting procedures.
- Creates requisitions for new and replacement positions.
- Manages the recruiting and onboarding process for management trainees.
- Works closely with third party ATS vendor to make changes and updates to the system.
- Analyzes sourcing trends to focus efforts on attracting top talent.
- Verifies employment applications, examines work history, education and training through background checks.
- Coordinates pre-employment testing.
- Works with management to determine necessary KSA's for open positions.
- Coordinates interviews with management team.
- Trains management staff on proper interviewing techniques.
- Acts as liaison with recruitment agencies.
- Manages the transition from candidate to employee by linking with the appropriate HR team member responsible for onboarding the new employee.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred Payroll/HRIS/ATS experience with ADP products
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred
- Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, and government regulations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred and/or 5+ years' experience
- Bilingual-English and Spanish
