The City of Yuba City is currently accepting applications for Engineering Technician I. Engineering Technicians perform responsible sub-professional office and fieldwork in support of City Engineering activities including, but not limited to: surveying, drafting, GIS mapping, traffic data collection, Public Works inspection, permit issuance, map review, plan review, and related work as assigned. This is the entry-level position in the series, and employees in this classification work under close supervision. Engineering Technicians perform less-technical work while learning City and departmental procedures and becoming familiar with a variety of sub-professional engineering/surveying technical support work.
