The City of Sacramento is seeking to hire a Financial Services Manager to oversee revenue operations and services within the City's Department of Finance. In addition to possessing a strong knowledge of the principles of administration including management, organizational analysis, budgets, accounts payable/ receivable, procurement, and grant/contract management, it is equally important for the candidate to have excellent leadership and organizational skills. This includes having a coaching style of leadership, and the strong desire and ability to develop employees professionally. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who understands how to effectively manage change and is a champion of inclusion in the workplace. The ability to balance technical skills with interpersonal skills, and to build and manage strong relationships internally and externally, are critical for success in this position.
