Science Teacher/Forensics/Anatomy
Cardinal Gibbons High School
Position Summary: Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is seeking a teacher for high school Science/Anatomy and Forensics(Grades 9 through 12) for the upcoming of the 2019-2020 school year. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school science. The High School Science/Anatomy/Forensics teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Qualifications of Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree in Science. Master’s degree preferred.
Florida Department of Education certificate in Science/Biology/or a related field, grades 9-12, temporary or professional required.
Experience teaching a life science course.
Must have clear and concise communications with students and parents.
Must be able to demonstrate the technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Must be fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
Must conduct themselves in a professional manner consistent with the tenets of the Catholic Church.

Education
- High School or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or a related Science Degree
- Master’s Degree in Biology or a related Science Degree
- Certifications-
Valid current Florida Three-Year Temporary or Five-Year Professional Teaching Certificate. - Years of Experience : At least 1
- Software Skills: Microsoft, Google, Excel, Apple Office, Windows OS, Electronic Presentation
