Writer/Producer, Interactive Courseware Developer

BVS Performance Solutions, a nation-wide bank and credit union training company with more than 35 years in the financial institution training industry and hundreds of thousands of users, is seeking a talented, creative, detail-oriented and hard-working individual with writing and video production experience to join our staff of award-winning producers. This individual will work on site developing web-based training and communication tools for banks and credit unions.

Responsibilities:

·         Work with a subject matter expert to develop relevant content 

·         Write engaging scripts for digital, web-based training 

·         Edit and update existing scripts to ensure their accuracy, clarity, and relevance

·         Work with photo editors to bring your scripts to life with video, digital content and interactive activities

·         Produce video and digital content with a team of actors and crew

·         Other duties as assigned  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Excellent writing skills focused on learning writing

·         Understanding of learning methodologies helpful

·         Broadcast journalism experience very helpful

·         Understanding of and experience developing video pieces either news or general production

·         Experience with video shooting and working with video editors

·         Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 

·         Demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple projects with minimal supervision 

Credentials and Experience: 

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Journalism experience preferred

·         Experience in television news and / or production preferred

·         Minimum of four years' writing/editing experience is required
