Black Eagle Consulting, Inc. is a geotechnical/construction services company in Reno, NV seeking experienced full-time Construction Inspectors with ICC and/or NAQTC certifications. Hourly wage rates range from $16-$30 per hour depending on experience and certifications. SENIOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR/TESTER
Summary: Technical knowledge of construction principles, practices and procedures, the ability to perform materials testing and inspection, and a demonstrated capability for communication and documentation.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Field Technician, or an Associate's Degree in a construction-related field and 4 years of progressively responsible construction inspection experience, or a minimum of 3 ICC certifications and 4 years of progressively responsible construction inspection experience is preferable.
- Certification in all NAQTC modules, or the ability to obtain within 6 months is preferable.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Nuclear density gauge certification.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification.
- A current and valid driver's license.
- Wage rates starting at $25 per hour DOE.
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR/TESTER
Summary: Knowledge of construction principles, practices and procedures, the ability to perform materials testing and inspection, and a demonstrated capability for communication and documentation.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Field Technician, or an Associate's Degree in a construction-related field and 1 year of progressively responsible construction inspection experience, or a minimum of 2 ICC certifications (e.g. reinforced concrete, structural masonry, etc.) and 1 year of progressively responsible construction inspection experience is preferable.
- Certification in any NAQTC modules, or the ability to obtain within 6 months is preferable.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Nuclear density gauge certification.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification.
- A current and valid driver's license.
- Wage rates starting at $20 per hour DOE.
CONSTRUCTION FIELD TECHNICIAN
Summary: Basic knowledge of construction principles, practices and procedures, the ability to perform materials testing and inspection, and a demonstrated capability for communication and documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Nuclear density gauge certification.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification.
- A current and valid driver's license.
- Certification in any NAQTC modules, or the ability to obtain within 6 months is preferable.
- Wage rates starting at $16 per hour DOE.
