Commercial Property Manager
B&Z Properties, Inc., is an asset and property management company located in Sacramento, California. We manage approximately 1.5 million square feet of suburban office with some mixed use and retail product.
Position Summary: Responsible for the overall day to day management of a portfolio of commercial properties. Property manager is a hands on position which includes the operational and financial management of properties with regular communication and coordination with vendors, tenants, management and owners.
Responsibilities: Property inspections and coordination of corrective action Developing job specifications and supervising vendor work Tenant communication including work order requests and solving problems Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and 5 year capital plan Review and approval of annual tenant expense reimbursements Approve operating expenses for payment. Preparation of monthly reports. Coordinate tenant move-in/move-out Proactively monitor and implement property safety and security practices Handle after hours emergency calls and coordinate response.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of commercial property management experience Customer oriented with strong interpersonal skills Self-starter and problem solver Excellent organizational and administrative skills Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, word, excel, work order and accounting systems. Ability to be on call for building emergencies.
Education: Minimum of high school education, post high school preferred and a valid California real estate license. Certified Property Manager, Certified Shopping Center Manager, Real Property Administrator or Certified Facility Manager preferred.
