Payroll Specialist II OR Payroll Manager (Amador County) –
Maintains and processes payroll records and reports for accounting of salary/wages, accruals, deductions and other payroll functions. Knowledge of payroll principles, regulations, procedures, and knowledge of Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) regulations is preferred. Skills in evaluating and analyzing technical payroll activities, preparing detailed reports, and performing detailed computations. Ability to communicate effectively, make independent judgments, take initiative, and research and solve wage and deduction issues. Must have five (5) years of qualifying training and experience. Payroll Manager requires supervisory experience.
