Fiscal OfficerAMADOR COUNTY
F/T $30.35 - $36.89/hr.
Under direction of the Department Director, assumes responsibility for fiscal management and auditing of diverse programmatic functions and of the complex, multi-source, Department budget(s). Prepares the annual budget(s) and monitors the monthly revenue and spending patterns. Performs cost accounting and/or oversees preparation of cost reports.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. Substitution for Education: Two additional years of experience of the type noted below may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience performing a variety of complex fiscal duties and administrative office technical support responsibilities, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory position. Two years of the required experience is preferred in the area of government accounting or a closely related field.
