Plant Controller

Position Offered: Plant Controller in Auburn, CA; 40 hrs/wk (OT as req.); 8:30-5, M-F.  Salary $97,032.00 per year. Employer paid ad. Ref. # 113966-0162. Resp. for acting as a key leader on the plant leadership team; provide strong financial leadership: plan & coordinate plant budget & business planning activities including but not limited to Manufacturing direct/indirect labor cost control & improvement; manage & direct the general accting, accts receivable, accts payable; prepare corp financial statements & required reporting in a timely & accurate manner; maintain overall integrity of the General Ledger system in ERP system & all related subsystems including overhead cost; coordinate preparation & analysis of the annual operating budget; prepare cashflow forecasts on monthly basis & supporting / oversee all reporting activities w/ external lending sources; coordinate annual external financial statement audit & prepare all necessary analyses to support the company’s accts as required; maintain effective system of inventory control in the organization; protect assets by establishing, monitoring & enforcing internal controls; document all accounting processes & lead improvement efforts as necessary to gain efficiencies & improve controls; work w/ other departments as necessary to successfully carry out these activities; prepare & analyze various financial statements & support as requested by senior management; lead the development of complex analysis, engage in data modeling to reveal, to monitor, & to analyze the productivity of daily manufacturing, & to provide report for management’s decision making. Requirements: Bach.s degree in business administration, Accting, or foreign degree equiv;  5-yrs of post-baccalaureate, progressively responsible, work experience as a Cost Accountant, Senior Accountant, Controller or combination; 5-yrs work exp must include work w/ labor cost & overheads cost analysis, inventory control, Accounting Month-End Close, Acct Payable, Accts Receivable, Regular financial statements preparing & analysis; OR Master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or foreign degree equivalent; 12 months work exp as Cost Acctant, Sr Acctant, Controller or combination; & 12-month work experience must incl work w/ labor cost & overheads cost analysis, inventory control, Accounting Month-End Close, Accts Payable, Accts Receivable, Regular financial statements preparing & analysis.
