Intake Ombudsman
Agency on Aging \ Area 4 is accepting applications in the Direct Services Department, Long-Term Ombudsman Program. This department is responsible for the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of AAA4’s in-house programs.

Position Title: Intake Ombudsman
Salary: $28,628 - $39,573 Annually DOE
Location: 1401 El Camino Avenue, 4th Floor, Sacramento, CA
Work Schedule: 28 hours per week
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Two years’ education from an accredited college, university or technical school AND at least 3 years’ administrative experience with public programs that serve adults in general; OR HS graduate AND 2-years as Office Specialist level or equivalent AND 3-years increasingly responsible clerical or administrative support including public contact.
- Must be a certified LTC Ombudsman or eligible for and able to obtain certification from the Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman. As a Long-Term Care Ombudsman, the incumbent must be free be free from conflicts of interest, and pass a criminal background clearance from the California Department of Justice and the FBI;
- Attend the requisite 36 hours of approved training and internship.
